At Knoepfler Chevrolet we welcome all GM vehicles no matter where they were purchased. Our technicians are fully trained to work on Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile and GMC trucks. MANAGEMENT: Gordon Pynn, our Service Director, started his automotive management career in 1981 and has been with Knoepfler Chevrolet since 1986. Service Manager, Sam Silacci, received his technical training from Wyoming Technical Institute and, after spending time in Rapid City, came to Knoepfler Chevrolet to work as a technician. Sam since has been promoted to Lead Technician then to Assistant Manager and now as Service Manager. TECHNICAL STAFF & TRAINING: Presently, we employ 21 technicians. Our technicians are required to be both ASE Certified as well as GM Certified. Currently, Knoepfler Chevrolet has exceeded General Motor's training standards by over 300%. We provide on-going training and, by obtaining the latest diagnostic equipment, enable our technicians to have the best possible advantage to fix your vehicle right, the first time. TEAM SYSTEM: When you bring your GM vehicle to Knoepfler you have the advantage of the "Team System." Much like NASCAR and NHRA, out technicians work in a "team." Not only does a team system enable better communication among the techs, it also means your vehicle can be done quicker because more than one technician could be working on your vehicle at the same time. Each team is directed by a Service Consultant and a Lead Technician. Orange Team: Service Consultant Joe Bolton and Lead Tech Brandon McCune work on all vehicles but have the capability to also work on fleet and commercial accounts including medium duty trucks, buses and motor homes. Joe's direct line is 279-7170. Red Team: Service Consultant Kyle Rager and Lead Tech Kris Carnell. Kyle's direct line is 279-7162. White Team: Service Consultant Curt Blankenburg and Lead Tech Mike Rasmussen. Curt's direct line is 279-7161. Blue Team: Service Consultant Tom Murphy and Lead Technician Dave Stevens. RESERVATION SYSTEM: Our reservation system allows you to visit with your Service Consultant to arrange a day and time that works best for both of you. After consultation you should have an estimate of the repair and completion time. We try to allow time in our schedule to handle emergencies and drive-ins as best as possible. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Knoepfler Chevrolet is a strong advocate of Vocational School Training. Since 1986 we have sponsored over 20 young men and women who have had a desire to work in this industry as technicians. We believe in planning for the future by training now.
